1: What is a right-of-way (ROW)?
A: The right to pass over or through a property owned by others based upon an easement.

2: What is an easement?
A: A right held by someone to use land belonging to someone else for a specific purpose.

3: What is dark fiber?
A: Dark fiber refers to an optic-fiber strand with no optical transmission equipment. This allows customers the flexibility to add equipment to "light" the fiber in order to fulfill their specific needs.

4: What is lit fiber?
A: Lit fiber refers to an optic-fiber strand that is activated or equipped with the proper electronics to transmit and/or receive data.

5: How are your wireless rates determined?
A: Our wireless rates are negotiated in master site license agreements. Rates can vary by location.

6: How is construction work coordinated for wireless cell site development?
A: We have a staff dedicated to overseeing each step of the process from start to finish.  After a site lease is fully executed, a First Telecom Services, LLC project manager will work closely with you to schedule and complete the installation.
